Sometimes travelers want to gather their personal information about the itineraries they want to undertake and sometimes they may need to find something which has already been organized and planned so that their minds and their feet won’t perceive to be astray. More than a decade ago the villages of the Tremezzina decided to trace a path from Colonno to Griante not too far from the coast, passing alongside the historical villas walls and offering wonderful glimpses on the landscape.

Due to the great affluence of foreign tourists the route was exotically called Green way. On the road signs you can see the silhouettes of walking hikers; you’ll also find the same logo engraved on a flat stone laid among the other ancient pebbles on the small and narrow roads of the “Green Way” so that occasional walkers will realize that “nothing is lost if you walk in the green”.
